Locked out

Your website is open.
To the machines, it’s shut.

When someone asks an assistant who to use, it goes and reads the candidates for itself. If it can’t get into your site — or gets in and finds nothing it can read — you don’t rank low. You’re simply not there.

  • 403

    Blocked at the door

Your CDN or firewall challenges anything that looks like a bot, and the AI crawlers fail the test. They never see a single page.

  • JS

Let in to an empty room

Your pages assemble in the browser. Crawlers that don’t run JavaScript are handed the wrapper and none of the contents.

  • IMG

    Facts it can’t read

Prices in images, accreditations as logos, the phone number in a PDF. A person reads all of it. A model reads none of it.

  • ···

Nothing that says what you are

No structured data stating what you do, where you do it or what it costs — so the model quotes a competitor who said so plainly.

Four checks, run in order

01

Access

Can they even reach you?

We request your pages as each major AI crawler and record what happens. Robots rules, CDN challenges and firewall blocks routinely shut out the exact bots you want reading you — usually without anyone deciding to.

02

Render

What do they get without JavaScript?

Most AI crawlers do not execute JavaScript. We fetch your pages the way they do and show you the difference — the prices, listings and detail that exist in a browser and simply are not there for a machine.

03

Structure

Are the facts machine-readable?

What you do, where you do it, what it costs, what you are accredited for. We audit your structured data page type by page type, because a model cannot read a logo, a PDF or an image of a phone number.

04

Answers

Do you actually get named?

The audit tiers put your real customer questions to the live models and record who gets cited instead of you. Raw outputs are supplied, so you can check every word of it yourself.

How the score is built

Four equal quarters, nothing hidden

The headline number is an equal weighting across the four checks, so a site that is perfectly readable but blocked at the door cannot score well by accident. The report shows every quarter separately, with the requests behind it.

Objections

The questions we actually get

We have already had three emails like this. Why are you different?

Because this is a product rather than a consultancy pitch. The technical diagnostic is automated, so the full report is £150 once rather than a monthly retainer, and you can request the free report without speaking to anybody. We also build the fixes rather than sending a list of them. If the other three offered you a retainer and a document, that is the difference.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

There is overlap, and good SEO helps. But an SEO audit tells you how you rank in a list of links. It will not tell you that your CDN is returning a 403 to Perplexity’s crawler, that your itinerary pages are empty without JavaScript, or that a model currently describes your business incorrectly. Different failure modes, different tests, different fixes.

Can you guarantee we will appear in AI answers?

No, and treat anyone who does with suspicion. AI answers are non-deterministic: the same question asked twice can return different sources, and model updates change results without warning. What we can commit to is the foundation — crawlers reaching your site, structured data they can parse, content they can read — and honest measurement of what changes.

Why should we trust a new company?

Trust the evidence rather than the company. Run the free check on your own domain and verify every finding yourself. Watch us run live queries against the models in a meeting you control, using questions you choose. Read a sample audit before commissioning one. Everything we assert about your site is testable by your own developers.

Our IT team says we are fine.

They may well be right, and the free check settles it in an afternoon. What we usually find is not incompetence but an ownership gap. Robots.txt sits with IT, the CDN with an infrastructure partner, templates with an agency, and nobody owns the join. Bot protection defaults also change on upgrade, silently.

Find out where you stand

The report is free. We check your site and email you the results within one working day. If it comes back clean, you have lost nothing and learned something.
